We are happy that we have lived long enough to finish that long promised update of the earlier CD with its vast amount of Scudamore/Skidmore genealogy. It is here and ready for mailing - at long last.

CD 2006 is more than doubled in size and number of families that are included in the books and separate publications. Below is a list of some of the contents. Additionally, by using DNA analysis to support our conventional research methods we have positively joined several lines in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Warren and Frank have now reached the age of senior senior citizens - we are in our 82 nd and 89 th year respectively. To paraphrase Mike Wallace of 60 minutes: ... it's become apparent ... that our eyes and ears, among other appurtenances, aren't quite what they used to be. The prospect of long flights [or long automobile trips] to wherever in search of whatever are not quite as appealing.

This is our final act in the long run of genealogical research and publishing.

Births, marriages, and deaths of Scudamore/Skidmore families in England 1837-1992.

Separate genealogical publications for the families at: Franklin and Morgan Counties in Alabama; Frampton Cotterill, UK; Danvers, Massachusetts; Burnham, UK; and Lamar County, Texas.

The last DNA analysis of some 40 persons we had tested at that point in the project. These analyses have supplemented public record research to confirm relationships and groupings of families in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. The project continues.
